An integral part of the Boydtown township will be the new Marina. The Marina will employ 12-14 people and will comprise:

• 250 berths
• 40 deep water moorings
• 100 dry stack boats

The Marina will offer local residents and visitors:

• accommodation for boats up to 23m in length and with a draft of up to 3.2m
• full servicing and cleaning of boats if required, at competitive rates
• gourmet food and drink baskets (at various costings) on request

On the northern side of the Marina a yacht club will be established, creating a vibrant and active recreational facility. Shopping facilities will also be provided, making the Marina the ideal place for those visiting by sea to stop over.

The southern bank of the Marina will feature a complex of luxury water-front dwellings and apartments, comprising 120 in all.

Development of the marina has been approved and will proceed in stages over the next 7 years. Construction has commenced, beginning with excavation and dredging works. We anticipate a take-up rate of 50 berths per annum.
